Frown new to the site

I suffer from DDD, lumbar facet syndrome, and chronic sciatica. I had a L4-L5 discectomy 9 years ago. About a year ago I was lifting my niece out of her wheelchair and herniated 3 disc including the L4-L5 again. I have since been through PT, injections, meds and wearing a tens. My doctor told me yesterday that we have reached the point where i am going to require surgery again. The last injection I had 3 weeks ago the dr injected die before the regular meds to get a look at the disc and he saw some scar tissue in the sciatic nerve root. I go to the neurologist next week to prepare for the surgery.
