Wondering if any of your experienced or heard about case of chronic bowel constipation after spinal fusion? Regards. |

Since we're all friends here, are you numb "down there?" Do you have trouble urinating? Why I ask is there is a condition known as cauda equina syndrome and it's serious.
Do you take opiates for pain relief? If you do take opiates or for that matter, any pain meds, then you should be taking a stool softener, such as colace or senna, or some other such thing. It will solve your problem. Let us know if you have the first thing mentioned tho. God bless. Hugs, Lee

This is not cauda equina syndrome. We have investigated this possibility with several surgeons and neurologist just after the surgery when we noted this problem.
There is no numbness. Regards |
