hey,
still don't feel normal. Healing sucks. The neck feels great but everything else i starting to hurt. I guess that's normal. I used to lift weights will I ever get to do that again? My neck was fused June 14, 2010. I am riding a motorcycle daily because it is easier on my shoulder then driving a car. I really want to start lifting weights again but my shoulder still doesn't work well. |

Sorry about the pain your going through...I have no experience with the neck. I am a Lumbar person. I have had five surgeries the last one being two years ago. I can say this that ever now every once in a while I will do something that was painful before or that I couldn't even do. I call them my aha moments.
Time is the only thing that helps...however we usually want it now...take care and hope to get to know you better!!

Hi ~ I'm glad your neck is feeling better, but I'm sorry everything else hurts. I can relate to that!
i'm a lumbar person, although I do have a cervical herniation. From what I've been told, I doubt seriously that you'll be able to lift weights again, but don't quote me. Lifting weights even affects the neck! ![]() If you're going to go back to lifting weights, I'd sure be careful and i wouldn't lift any heavy weights. You surely don't want to go thru this again. Best of luck, and God bless. Hugs, Lee
