I'm so sorry.

I'm glad she told someone. A lot of kids don't tell anyone. Makes it worse in the long run.

There are so many -- so many -- women who've been molested or raped as children or young women.

Make sure your daughter knows how to keep herself safe. Make sure she knows, too, that it wasn't here fault.

I hope they lock that b***d up for a long-long time. BUT, if they don't, make sure your neighbors know about him.

I'm praying for all of you, especially your precious girl. Hugs.

Something similar to this happened to my daughter when she was 7 and it is an awful feeling. When I was told, all of the blood left my face and I thought I was going to pass out. It is hard to describe how you feel when this happens. Fortunately, my child didn't realize what the perpetrator was planning to do and she wasn't affected by it emotionally.

I watch too much CSI but it is educational.
