Default CSF Leak?

Hi there!
I am new here and this is my first post. I have been dizzy 24/7, 365. I have been diagnosed with migraine associated vertigo, but cannot believe I can have a migraine straight for a year.

This all started after I had a spinal block with the delivery of my baby girl. I woke up super dizzy 2 days later. Other symptoms included nausea, brain fog, tinnitus, blurry vision.

I asked my Doctor if I could have a spinal leak and she said no way, I would have a splitting headache.

I still have the symptoms I listed above and have tried many medications that haven't worked. Does anyone have any advice? Could I possibly have a leakage a year later?

Thanks for any advice or help!

Hi ~ I can't answer if you could still have a leak a year later, but I suppose it's possible !!

I think I would PRESSURE my doctor into doing an MRI with and without contrast material of the lumbar spine. You would at least PROBABLY find out what you're dealing with. Any time anything is injected into the spinal column, there are risks involved. She should order this on her own, without you asking -- but ask if you need to!!!

I hope they find a reason for your problems, but that it's easily taken care of. Best of luck and please keep us posted, ok? God bless. Hugs, Lee
