Default Updates?

I'm curious how Ginnie and others are doing now. I had C5-C6 with ROI-C (see 2012 post "ACDF Spinal Surgery with ROI-C Implant") and fully recovered other than some loss of motion. I'm now having similar severe (excruciating at times) pain as before, but on my left side (C6-C7?). I am seeing the neurosurgeon next week for an exam and MRI.

Some of the results of others on this forum concern me and make me seriously question going thru the surgery again. I'm 65 and my doctor has retired. I will be seeing one of his former partners. I expect that recovery may be much more difficult than the last time. I don't want to retire before I am ready because of having or not having the surgery.

I am scheduled to attend a week-long business conference in CA the end of April so will likely delay any surgery if I can stand the pain. The discomfort of a cross-country flight also concerns me whether with or without the surgery.

How are others of you doing post surgery?
