Is it safe to have an MRI 6 months after 1 level disc surgery with titanium plate and cadaver bone?

I'm not sure you can have an MRI with a plate. You can have a CT scan but not an MRI. It's because of the metal.

MRI uses magnets (magnetic resonance imaging),so any magnetic metals are an issue.
But titanium is not magnetic. (Per google info just to double check..) If any screws were used those would need to be known if magnetic or not. Best idea is to inform any dr or tech of the plate etc and let them make the call.

I called the MRI place and they told me what I have is compatible.I will have to find out about the screw make though. I only know titanium plate with screws, but not what the screws are made of.
