ACDF C4-5-6 > 2010 ACDF C3-4 > 2012 Now facing issues with C2-3 and C6-7-T1. Pain between shoulder blades, up to right shoulder, down back of right arm into pinking finger which is now numb. Starting to have issues with my right leg as well. Had similar symptoms prior to C4-5-6 fusion. I have limited use of my neck now, surgeon says that I most likely won’t notice that much of a difference. This surgery seems more daunting then the other 2 I went through since it is 3 different area’s affected, and they are not located in the same place. MRI states Central protrusion-central canal stenosis C2-3 – Diffuse Disc ostephyte complex with canal stenonis in C6-7 and Posterolateral protrusion in C7-T1 with C8 nerve root compression. It is getting harder and harder for me to get myself to work each day. I do office work on computer and desk work – Already have difficulty looking down to write on my desk and have to have my keyboard tilted up to see the keys – Looking for some support and or maybe anyone who has had multiple fusions such as I am facing to find out how much they are able to do after. I am also the only driver in my family, so I don’t have any choices there. |
