I am so confused, my doctor said it was not anything to worry about, but once I read this and because I am in constant pain, I wanted to be sure she is not just ignoring my pain. Thanks for any help you can give me.
FINDINGS: The scout sequence demonstrates no gross abnormality. Reversal of cervical lordosis is centered at C4-C5. Imaged portions of the posterior fossa are within normal limits. Craniocervical junction is unremarkable. There is normal bone marrow signal. The spinal cord is normal in signal and configuration. Disc degeneration is present in the mid cervical spine at C3-4 through C5-C6. C2-C3: The disc, spinal canal, and neural foramina are normal. C3-C4: The spinal canal, and neural foramina are normal. Disc is degenerated but there is no focal disc protrusion. C4-C5: Symmetric disc bulge minimally effaces ventral CSF. Neural foramina are unremarkable. There is no spinal canal stenosis. Cervical lordosis is reversed. There is grade 1 anterolisthesis of C4 on C5. C5-C6: Minimal disc degeneration with broad disc osteophyte complex and right uncinate hypertrophy are present. There is a superimposed right central disc protrusion that effaces the right ventral CSF. No significant foraminal stenosis is present. C6-C7: The disc, spinal canal, and neural foramina are normal. C7-T1: The disc, spinal canal, and neural foramina are normal. IMPRESSION: 1. New grade 1 anterolisthesis of C4 on C5 with reversal of cervical lordosis at this level and a small right central disc protrusion that effaces the ventral CSF. |
