Confused HELP!!!! Calf Spasm/Ankle Locking???

Hello all!!

I am new to this forum. I did have a 2 level decompression at my L4-5, L5-S1, with foramicotomies(sp) at both levels and Laminectomy at L5 in 2008. Been pretty good since then.

2 weekends ago I was playing baseball and collided with the 2nd baseman, I did notice back pain right-a-way , I gave it a couple days and went to see my Dr and he stated its just a ligament .

This is my problem, the last 3 days I have had this UNRELENTING calf spasm in my left calf on the outside down to my ankle that almost wraps around my left foot. NOTHING I do will stop the spasm, when it FINALLY decides to stop, it's almost like my left foot doesn't want to work, for like 15-20mins it is 'locked' and I can't move it.

I am wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen to them and if they did what was it , what could be causing it and what did they do to help/stop it??
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

CHEERS🍀
