Jyes,

I was just going to add that I have had different kinds of injections many, many times with and without sedation in my cervical and lumbar spine. Anyway, the first few days are always the roughest and I have always been told it will take a week or so for the steroid to work. It seems I go into a flare for a while and maybe it is due to irritation of the nerve or the steroid itself, I'm not sure. But always, always put a cold pack or ice as soon as you can wherever the injection is given and it WILL take the soreness down.

I know you probably feel like it isn't working and I know for myself I have called the docs office complaining about that. But they always say...give it more time. And 9 times out of 10 they are right.

Now, do they always work? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. But you will know more when a couple of weeks go by. I hope it works for you!
