For almost 2 years now I have been getting epidurals every three months to relieve the pain of spinal stenosis (diagnosed with SS in 2000). I told the doctor that they were no longer helping and asked if I should consider surgery. He said, no, continue with the epidurals. I changed doctors. New doc is looking at new places to give epidural - in the facets instead of foraminal; in a joint between base of spine and pelvic bone. Also he thought there are other meds/injections that may be more helpful than the Kenalog first doc was using. Anyone have similar experiences or suggestions?
