Default Newbie here with surgery around the corner

I am new here and I want to thank everyone ahead of time for your support and expertise. This looks like a very supportive environment....
I have spinal cord compression at C4-5 which is causing a lot of neurological problems: weak legs, burning in arms and difficulty with urination (to name a few). My surgery is scheduled for March 4, but I don't know what surgery it will be or which surgeon is going to do it. Everything is in the air due to Worker's Compensation issues. I am in "limboland." I just hope the best procedure and the most appropriate surgeon is on board when March 4 rolls around. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Thanks again for your support.
OUCH
