Hi Ron
I am new to the group, and was reading about your plight. Sorry you're going through this, and your anxiety about having another episode is understandable. In my early forties, about 4 years back, I had a series of small strokes. I wanted to ask you if when you were having these episodes if you were able to process information? Every TIA-stroke is different in how it effects the individual. I would be very careful with the self medicating. You seem to have a great team of doctors in place. If you had another episode and were not able to communicate to them what medications you were on, it could mean big trouble. I was on coumadin and was changed to 325 mg of aspirin, daily. I was diagnosed with a clotting disorder called 'APS' which was the reason for my trouble. I have had on more small 'TIA' that has caused minor facial drooping around my mouth. I am looking forward to making some nice friends. ![]() Take care |
