WOW....This young lady is 16 years old!!!

I became slightly traumatized this noon at Target. I had nothing in my cart yet, except for my purse. Was looking at shoes. Turned around to get my cart and it was gone. Spent an hour with Target security and police watching the front door and filling out a report. They looked at tapes and saw nothing.

Just as I broke down in tears a Target employee came up to us with my purse! They found it under a t-shirt in the dressing room. My cash was gone but amazingly everything else was there!!! Wallet, keys, prescription, ... even my emerald ring in the inside pouch!

Now I have a headache.

But seriously, I thought I was so good about keeping an eye on my purse. I even strap it into the cart. That's probably why they took the cart because my purse was tangled up in the belt lock thingy. Truth be told, I almost never go into a store with my purse, just my wallet in my pocket. And this one time.... Sigh.

That is awful Doody! I do the same thing with my purse and am going to stop that. Glad you "only" lost the $$.

And yes Ms. Alffe, as diligent as I thought I was...well, I wasn't! In the blink of an eye! I'm so lucky all they took was my cash! And thankfully, I DIDN'T stop at the ATM before going to Target as I planned to do!
