Oh no David...I had hoped you were off to Wales having a whole bunch of fun!

Great song Ducky...I hope today is better for you.

I wish I could have a piece of that cake Goofy!

Taking Cassie up to the kennel for the weekend...going to see our grandaughter and her new husband repeat their wedding vows. It's a beautiful day weatherwise so they really lucked out.

Hugs for the room.

I'm looking for my umbrella

I've got to do a whole lot of housecleaning...

I've got to figure out how unsettling it feels to buy a new camera, tv and laptop... with cash saved...

I've got to start reading again... bought a book by the author of The Kite Runner... A thousand sacred suns (or something like that - I'm too lazy to look)...

I've got to figure out an alternative when its raining... and I should go to the indoor pool...

I've got a lifetime of thoughts on my plate today.... all's good...

my Son left today, he shouted at his mother yesterday morning, came home to an empty house, and went out like nothing mattered.

he phoned me later all angry, and i told him to sort out somewhere to live soon.

he came home whilst we were all out today, and took all of his clothes and went.

My wife is upstairs crying, my youngest son is in his room totally confused and angry with his brother, and I'm just numb at his sheer arrogance...thinking what have we done to deserve this behaviour and a total lack of respect from our son.

I .................................words fail me..................sighhhhhhhhhhh

David

There are no words to make this confusion and utter state of shock disappear for you my friend...

I'm sure many of us have walked a simliar path... I know I have (my sons are now 26, 28 and 32)

I hope your son is ok ... he's made a really tough choice, hasn't he?

been there...done that. Ahhhhhh, adolesence..that old process where our kids get to challenge our parental authority and ultimately win.
How frustrating, how normal, how history repeats itself in our grandchildren and there is little comfort when our own children finally say..how could you stand me????

And they find out that while they may have won the battle..they have lost the war in that now they get to take care of themselves.

We are here for you dear friend....
