Yep, that's what I'm sitting here eating... a slice of cold pizza... I hate breakfast... unless I'm in a restaurant... lol
Bright sunshine outside... and near Zero Degrees (celcius)... hmmmm... spell check says I don't spell celcius right... oh whatever!... sunshine is a good thing no matter the temp! And I'm off to sing all day - coaching .... we intensely work on our two contest songs which we're preparing to sing at contest in May. Its an exhilarating, exhausting endeavour... which I love! I'm so blessed to have singing back in my life again! Then I have 3 days off work so my hope is to list on eBay (to grow a holiday fund) and clean this condo of mine! What's on your plate? |

Been cooking a lot cause two of our daughters are coming tomorrow and I just want to play while they are here. Made french onion soup, pulled pork for sandwiches, potato salad, and baked some chicken.
Mr.Alffe went out and started cleaning up the yard now that some grass has reappeared..also put on plastic gloves to clean up after Cassie and the deer and he got my car washed! What a guy. Gonna Bark just delivered Cassie's dry dog food...very handy not to have to drive over there to get it. I need to scrubb the bird feeders.

Everyone is still asleep and I am enjoying a rare quiet moment.
Have to go to the hospital to visit Kathy. She may be in for heart surgery. We will know tomorrow. But she is feeling better and we're hoping she will get home soon. Have to get things together for work next week and decide what's for dinner ( the most popular question in the house) and make time to fix the Kid a strawberry milkshake. Oh and I need to fit some goof-off time in there. I have been missing that. |

Ducky, So glad she's feeling better....did you take pot pie? Do you make it from scratch? Would you share the recipe? Can you tell I am hungry...hope our girls are almost here.
It snowed a little, then switched to sleet and now it doesn't seem to be doing anything.....anything is preferable! We plan on going to the Lighthouse Outlet Mall after lunch. Hope Barbo remembers that she is invited too.

I couldn't get to the hospital yesterday. had to stay here with the Kid. BUT...my sister took her pot pie. I talked to Kathy this morning and she said it was the perfect thing. She ate half of it and that was pretty good since she hadn't been able to eat anything for about three days. I will get up to see her in a while.
I do make my own pot pie though. I use crescent roll dough for the crust. I mean, really, so good. LOL. I am also going to do dishes today as , apparently, I am the only person in the whole freaking house who knows HOW! Sigh. Ah well, they hate doing dishes as badly as I do... but I am the only one who works every day and pays all the bills and.... LOLOL. I am a lucky woman if dishes is the worst thing I have to do today. |

I love pizza for breakfast!
But never cold! I nuke it in the "wave" about 1.5min after adding some fresh left over chicken or steak or whatever, and a little fresh shredded mozzarella cheese on the top, and it is like fresh from the oven. (sometimes the crust is a little mushy, but I don't mind that). It is great for breakfast. I often get a Large so I can have it for the next two days as left overs! YUM.
