I don't think we've gotten more than a few little sprinkles of rain in the past few days....

I'm sitting here wondering what I should eat for dinner or if I will eat at all... I'm on so much medicine that my stomach feels so weird can't tell if it's hunger or ache.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Abbie

Howdy

Beanz and I did the bead shop and a picnic at the park. She is MUCH better today.

Tomorrow is painting the fence. If it rains, I got pudding!

Thank You Ladies

Default rai & salivary glands

wednesday's dose of rai went to all the usual places. the experts still have to look but i think i am cancer free. i am in quite a bit of pain though. the rai concentrates in the salivary glands, which are now swollen and painful. the right one was swollen before this too, and it appears it may have rai damage from january. i have been self diagnosing again on the internet and got info from this article. seems like doctors and dentists don't look on the internet so i am forced to. they tend to look at me like a hypochondriac, but left to their own devices they just tend to be apathetic. oops, off my soapbox now.

Good for you for checking the net tied, some drs. act insulted when we bring in information about our "conditions"...I move on to different drs. when that happens. Pray that you are right about being cancer free...and I'm sorry for the damage...hope it improves.

I look forward to your "soapbox".

Howdy all

Well Beanz relapsed and is so so so trying. It is so hard to find that space where I am appropriately addressing inappropriate behavior and being compassionate regarding what she has been through.

It looks as if we are dealing with multiple personality disorder. I know this issue is far beyond the perview of this forum but it helps me to just type about it. And the guilt that I feel about my suicide attempt being a , reason? Precursor? I don't know but I feel partially responsible. I know in my head that sounds rediculous but my gut feels like I failed her.

MPD is tough..... i have some good friends that have that. It is a very advanced survival technique. esp common with those who have been sexually abused. but you already know that..... You have not failed her.... YOU are a very bright spot in her little life right now . {{{HUGS}}}}}

Default Complications Salivary Glands

ENT says if the antibiotics work I should turn the corner tomorrow. Only tonight I can't sleep from the pain and feel like I might throw up. Guess tomorrow will be a sick day.

Hope the antib. work tied. Meds can be such necessary evils. Still losing weight here along with appitite...

Looking forward to lunch with Barbo and getting more Charlies corn and tomatoes...can't get a lot though, leaving for NY and need to eat up food in the fridge.

Made a huge batch of sour dough bread yesterday, Mr.Alffe's favorite (thank you moi) and froze it. Also made and froze a sour cream coffee cake for sil's visit.

FreeKittens, so glad you have help from the good daddy.
