My dr. took me off aricept today when I told her how much better I feel.
She said that aricept does not show results in 3 months time so she knows that my improvement is from the tranquilizer she prescribed at the same time. My cognitive testing showed no dementia. She said when you watch someone you love (my Dad) on that downhill slide, it makes a lasting impression on you. She feels that I have had untreated depression for years and wants me to take this tranquilizer for the rest of my life. She gave both Mr.Alffe & me a flu shot and said, "stop thinking about alzh. and go enjoy your life." I am so grateful for the support you all have shown me and of course I thank the Man Upstairs too.
