Good advice, Goofy.
What's on your plate? I've been making hay while the sun has been shining. It's not going to last but it was so very good to get loads of washing dry on the line yesterday. I finished as much of my hedge as I could without falling on the ground with exhaustion but it's done the best I can do it for now. It looks a little odd. It's really tidy on both sides and ends but it's way taller than me so it's got a raggedy ridgeback reaching for the sky all the way down the top where I can't reach. My body is still aching and even though alloy hedge clippers are "apparently" light... they're actually as heavy as steel when you're swinging them above your head. ugh It's so bright at the moment between clouds that it's almost blinding. lol Not used to it. Need new sunnies. Great to see you back today Goofy and Addy. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time with your sister, Addy. |

I swear we are soul mates Lara! Every bone in my body aches today from trimming bushes and cleaning up the mess. I need to get some food in me so I can take the magic medicine ibuprofen.
Many years ago the I&M (our utility co.) left big, heavy shears on our property when they were trimming trees and those things have enabled me to live here and have sore arms on a regular basis. Waves at Goofy and Addy.....oh and at ~waves...miss you too lady! Twinkletoes??? I may faint! *grin

Too funny.
I took 2 ibuprofen as well. While I was taking them I was thinking "I'm not supposed to be taking these". I took them anyway and they helped. |

Oh, yeah ... I saw that avatar. I tried to "lift" it but wasn't successful.
I don't know where those come from. lol All the talk of ibuprofen....... why that? I swallowed Excedrin until Walmart came out with its copy. When it's a migraine I use Relpax.

wren, I get a lot of them from Office Images Just type in a word e.g. cats. Then hover the mouse pointer over the image and it'll show the word download. Then click download and save to your computer. If you look for it and can't find it, look in Downloads.
Hope that makes sense. It's early here. P.S. If you click the link under my time in my signature where it says BeachCam. You can see the sun rising in Australia. It's Wednesday! Edited to add: hmmmnn, maybe not. Rain clouds now. Was shining a few minutes ago. Maybe that's it for the day. |

I forgot...
Wren and barb, I rarely take anything for pain. If a cup of tea and a long lie-down don't help or if my back is in spasm then I occasionally take 2 ibuprofen. Heat packs help a little. No bath in my place unfortunately. If I had a bath it'd be excellent. Reason I shouldn't take ibuprofen is that I sometimes have blood clotting problems... my blood takes longer to clot than usual. It's either paracetemol, aspirin or ibuprofen and the latter two can affect clotting times. The paracetemol has different problems for me. Generic ibuprofen is about $2.50 for 24. So it lasts me a long, long time. lol |
