I wonder that I'm glad Alffe understands about the reunions. I saw several people that I was SO happy to see, and they me. So that was really nice. Like I said, there were a couple that didn't speak to me, and...people who spoke to me who didn't have on their name badges and I had NO CLUE what their names were.

I wonder that I missed seeing one friend, though she was one of those 'popular girl' people, she was very nice to me. Even taught me how to drive a stick! She died early of a brain tumor. Her name was Hope.

I wonder what the difference is between Mudslides and the 'good' stuff, hmmmm. Ooooohhhh, I looked up Mudslides and they sound nummy. Though I have some vague recollection of one night drinking vodka for the first time and nobody bothered to tell me that vodka tends to sneak up from behind you and suddenly kick you in the *****. (WHICH it did.)

I wonder if Alffe knows I will follow her wherever she wants to go. Doesn't matter to me, though...I really would like to go back to Notre Dame campus, so beautiful, and go to their bookstore. Better remember my walking tennies. Oh, and that pretty place we went to that had candles you lit and said a prayer, though for the life of me can't remember what it's called. (It was also at the Notre Dame campus.) And, I'd like to again go to that beautiful spot we went to with Barb where there was a brick? stone? for her daughter and one for Michael? I have beautiful pictures of it somewhere.

And yes, I loved Shipshewana and the cheese factory and the Amish places.

I wonder if I can see Barb's kitty again and I wonder how Barb has been doing.

Oh, I wonder that I haven't reported that mom's surgery for the melanoma on her cheek is Monday, and she checks into the hospital at 11:30. So I'll be taking the rest of the day off work to be with her and dad. I mentioned it, and she replied..."I don't want to talk about it." So, we don't.

LOLOLOL! I wonder that Daughter Doody called me this morning. And granddoody had gone to a parade with his babysitter early this morning. Daughter Doody told me he came home with a bumper sticker on his shirt that said, "Hillary for President" and I LMAO at the thought of what he looked like.

I wonder...not that I'm voting for Hillary and won't say who I might vote for (well, maybe go as far as to say whoever wins the democratic nomination, LOLOL), what it would be like to have a woman president with a husband as former president, and if they would refer to him as the 1st lady, or the 1st husband.

I wonder that this election I'm a little worried because, well...I'm just sick at the affairs of our nation and the stress it causes me pea brain.

I wonder that last week as I was driving home from work, gas prices were $2.79. The next morning as I drove TO work, they were $3.17. For good gawd. Gimme a break.

I wonder if I can tell Doody to have a whole bunch of fun tonight inspite of the snarky ones....and of course we'll see Ruby and her mom. *grin

I wonder why our VCR just quit, with no explaination! It was still under the extended warrenty so Mr.Alffe went over and got a free one.

I wonder if anyone else listens/watches the Gathier Hour on PBS....wonderful gospel music.......I tape it, that's how I found out the VCR is broken.

I wonder how Abbie is and why she's so quiet.....

I wonder why Doody was the only woman with grey hair at her reunion - I suspect it was because she was the only REAL woman present.

I attended my 20th, and I'll never attend another. Like you, most of my friends were older, so there were only a few I wanted to see from school. Most of my friends from school were listed on the "In Memoriam" section. Like you, I got stuck with sitting with the superficial and beautiful people. You're right - they don't change. One woman was going on and on about a baby she adopted from China. It sounded to me like she was describing a new fashion accessory, and her friends reacted like they all HAD to have one too.

It was also my last day of "freedom" - the first time I realized something might be wrong with me. We were posing for a class photo, and my face started twitching. The following Monday I went to LensCrafters for new glasses, and the optometrist freaked out when he looked into my eyes - later said it looked like I had Christmas trees etched into my corneas.

I wonder if Alffe knows my husband and I are being overly nice with each other. He knows if he goes it will be the end of me, and I know what it feels like to be told your life might be near the end.

I wonder how our troops are dealing with the heat in the Middle East. It's close to 130 degrees, and they have to wear all that gear - wish THEY could take a vacation like politicians do. My son will have to go there next May - I wonder how he'll endure such extreme heat.

I wonder if anyone here has ever had a South Side Chicago Rainbow cone. Layer of chocolate, Strawberry, Palmer House (cherry with nuts), Pistachio, and Orange Sherbet - served on a cone with a spatula to give it the "rainbow" effect. It's a South Side standard here, and oh so yummy!
