My younger son will be graduation from MSU ( proud
![]() Unfrotunaltely we don't much believe in the "watching from above" type of thing. The void of a special man we loved will really be apparent. He would have been soooooooooo proud cuz he was not even a h.s. grad. Alex had just begun his 3rd yr when it happened, he took a week off and went back to school. It took him several months before he was able to work again, that was ok. He has been dealing with depression in a big way and still maintained decent grades. I am really proud.

Way to go!!! These are the kinds of stories I need to pump me up right now trying to raise two little girls alone after their father's death six months ago. I am so happy for you and your son! Hopefully your other son can make it. Congrats Alex!

Hi ((Smiles)) and congratulations! Your son accomplished a monumental task by finishing school under such adverse conditions. I too finished college after my sister died (barely, I didn't want to continue), so I understand what a challenge it has been for him.
I don't much believe in 'from above' either...we're the ones dealing with the loss here, but I do believe that those we love who have passed on are in a better place and will always be a part of who we are. Way to go! Congratulate your son for me! And congratulations to you too. ![]()

Fill those seats with people who love him -- friends, family - favourite cousin - whoever - ....
Maybe have people write something about his Dad or something about your son's relationship with his Dad- I'm sure each of them can give something to your son that will amaze you. I know what you're going through takes an immense amount of energy and courage. Be proud. ![]() |

OMG Addy!!!! How was the move? Are you settled? New job? What up?
The book is a great idea! I had the same done at my husband's memorial. Very little people showed up, but the one's that did really contributed to the book and it will be a keepsake forever. Glad you are back! |
