I know for me, insomnia runs in spells. So that may be the same for others too. I applaud you for wanting to chat with those of us northern hemisphere insomniacs!!!

Especially since it's winter there and we are sweltering in 100 degree heat right now!!!

One thread? You post more than just here. Or you should! Here I go, telling you what you should be doing! LOL!

On to other things! Glad you had a good vacation. Have I told you that I am going on a nice vacation to the UK...W-ALE-Z...in September? I am looking forward to the trip. It's coming up soon and I am not even ready yet!

I'd like to go to Wales as well. The UK sounds good, but it's not a place that has drawn me really and Scotland has too many hills and mountains for my liking, but Wales sounds good!

September is only next month so you don't have much time left to pack.

How very exciting this must be for you! I bet you are really looking forward to this trip away.

I've been to Ireland and loved it, but not to Scotland. This will be my first trip to UK/Wales. We are flying into Manchester and then driving south to Wales. My sister and I will be going to London the last two days of our trip. Not sure exactly what the middle part of our itinerary is yet, but all those details are being taken care of by the other person that is going with us!

My sister's birthday is 9-11 so she wants to spend her birthday doing something other than her usual volunteer work for FEMA or the 9-11 Center she works for. This year will be special for her. We are all looking forward to the trip.

My other destination, again, would be Australia. I loved it there and would love to visit again.

Her birthday is 9-11? Your poor sister! I daresay it's taken a while for her to start remembering good things about her birthday after what happened on that date.

I'm sure you'll both have a wonderful time on your trip away.

I'm hoping that one day I'll get to meet some or any of the board buddies I've met through NeuroTalk. I can't imagine we'll be able to travel now that we're both on disability pensions, but you never know! Maybe one day..........

Yes, her birthday is 9-11. She is also a volunteer for what used to be FEMA but is now called DMORT which is the mobile morgue. She worked the Pennsylvania crash site. She spent her 50th birthday working in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. So, when I told her that my friend and I were going to Wales in September she asked if she could go with us and spend her birthday with us!

I am quite proud of my sister, as you can tell.

Yes, you never know what may happen. I never thought I'd be going on this trip!

Your sister sounds like a very special lady FG. My own sister and I have had hassles in the past. It's a shame that we've never really had the sort of a relationship you apear to have with your's.

It hasn't always been this way. But I am glad we have a good relationship now. When we lost our younger sister, a lot changed.

It's about time for this FG to hit the sack. These allergies are killing me. I think I've got a horrible case of allergies this year with all the smoke and pollen this year in the air. My head is just full. I hope it clears up soon. I wake up in the morning so stuffed up, I can barely breathe.

Nice chatting with you my friend! See you again soon!
