I love you too mistiis! And yes they have these neat chairs that fold down into beds. I am right beside her now, and her breathing is so much easier now too. I am scared still, she is my Mom! But, I have this overwhelming feeling that she will be coming home again. I am going to hold on to that

...sounds like she needed the fluids...and she probably did have some messed up electrolytes, and possibly, blood sugar too. Peaceful is good Nikki....and I hope you are feeling a bit more peaceful yourself...

I can't tell you how peaceful I DO feel at this time. Instead of being torn up as I thought I would be over Dad, I am just so thankful and happy and and and everything that she is still here with me

There is Christmas music playing in the lobby, and I was humming right along with it. I SAID Merry Christmas to people passing in the hall, and I found I truly meant it !

Yes, it does help one to re-focus a bit. When my dad died, instead of being grateful that I still had my mom, I got angry with God for not saving him. But, I have changed my attitude, but it took me many years to do that.

I WAS doing the same thing. Never again. I still showed her love of course, but not as much as I showed my grief over Dad. I learned a valuable lesson and I will never forget it
