I have heard the same about the councelors office. i am sure they are gratefull for those reaching out. Me; I am surprisingly well, probably better then most but I have unique ways with dealing with emotions. I just disconnected from those feeling like a plug. |

I am glad that you are doing well...we all handle a suicide loss in ways that work for us. I am curious if you talked about Nicks death to anyone in the weeks and months after he died. I refused to discuss Michaels death for about 8 years....not a good idea!

Oh I talked alot, I am usually a quiet person until i am bothered by something then watch out......you could not get me to stop. It is my venting process. I have found over time that talking takes the weight and burdon off of your shoulders that we sometimes carry.
You are talking now and by the way things look you are definetly effective and impactfull to individuals. If you had talked about micheals death then you would probably not be where you are to day. Emotions tend to guide us blindly through life. |

Well said ry_sky!!!
You are right about Alffe - she is most "definetely effective and impactful" to all who are fortunate to cross her path in life. I have been walking along side her for nearly a decade! How blessed am I!!!!! I thank you and all who come by, for the insight they share and for allowing us into their lives. I truly believe it helps me, not only understand myself better... but to understand others as well. |
