Huh? What's that?
I never heard of it before today when my boss told me. I was relaying to him how tired I was because last night when I was trying to sleep, I was obsessively worrying about something in my life that is causing me a lot of stress. It was driving me nuts trying to stop thinking about it, but I finally fell asleep from exhaustion. My boss said, "That's Monkey Mind!" And he started telling me about Buddhists and Yoga and Monkey Mind (sometimes Monkey Brain). I did a little searching on it and had a hard time finding much about it, but I found this interesting blog about 'Monkey Brain'. And how being like that can be a detriment to your brain! Well, doh, but it means physically detrimental. Hmmmmm. Quote:

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2006/3016.html http://nomonkeymind.com/ No wonder I like the meditation CD I have from that wonderful lady in Colorado that I've raved about. I sent a copy to BMW and she likes it too. Meditation sure is hard with a monkey mind. Right, Curious????? ![]()
