Barbo... the manatee statue is at Blue Spring park here in Florida. the picture dose not do it justice. It sprakles with so much color when the sunlight hits it. Blue Spring is famous in the winter all the manatees go to Blue Spring and stay in the warm fresh water. It stays 72 degrees all year. they only let people swim and or scuba dive in the summer time. You can scuba dive into the spring and explore . ha in a few months I can go again and get some pictures of live manatees for you.
I also see manatee in the river in town where I live but at the spring they gather in numbers and it is a sight.

Alffe Mom you are welcome ...don't forget to share with Mr. Alffe

They are such treasures - and to think man is their only enemy. It's so sad. You know the only manatee hospital is at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. They are brought there to treat the cuts from boat motors. That zoo is where I fell for manatees, Thanks!
