Stargazey,
My thoracic cyst was at T5-6, and the symptoms were "stabbing pain" like an ice pick stabbing me in the back, along with spasms, which radiated around the front of my chest. Radiologists usually refer to Tarlov cysts as "incidental" or "insignificant". Of course, those who have symptomatic Tarlov cysts and are disabled do not consider them "incidental". I was prescribed a wide range of medications and therapies before meeting with Dr. Frank Feigenbaum. After five years of being disabled with this "condition", he performed the surgery which restored my life. You can review my posts on this web site to better understand the "journey" I took. You can private message me if you have personal questions you do not want to share with the world. "Bridges" |
