I have my grandma's crochet book, 1942. She made tons of the patterns in that book, some of them I have. My most prized is the pineapple tablecloth. It would take me decades to do something like that, and I know she whipped it out in maybe a month. Wow.

I also have two afghans - one with a matching pillow - she made. The pink one she made for me when I was just a kid. My dgd was shocked when I told her , as I wrapped her in a similar blankie I crocheted for her, my grandma made that, like old as I am, how could I have a grandma? LOL...

After pitching, giving away, selling or packing almost everything I own, I came across all those things I call precious. Can't believe how many, and what they are, that are so special.

There was a paper ribbon that said 2nd place, family fun day!

Cool thread, Dancing. I needed this today.

I have Mom's *pig in a poke* cookie jar. It was a house warming gift from great Aunt Florrie, before I was born. It was always full of cookies, eith Mom's or Grandma's - that's one thing I got from those two, I can bake cookies.

Oh, and I have their recipes, too.
