That is scary! And I doubt the rest of the neighbors know about the men working for the lawn care biz, or they soon wouldn't be. Hmmm. I would maybe print out their pix and show them around. But then I tend to stir the pot.

Hey if it keeps one child safe.

If they are registered offenders, isn't the law that they are not allowed to be around children? And that should mean, yours, on your property I would think. Can't you ask the police? I would. Call and say, "I think I saw these guys on the website, and do not want them on my property - are these those two, and what are my rights?"

For anyone who rapes or kills a child, no punishment is good enough in my opinion. I don't care if it's a member of the clergy, or the leader of a nation or a homeless person living on the street. I have no sympathy at all for someone who does something like this. I'm so sorry for this little girl and her mother and family.

I did bring this up with the police...one perk to living next door to a detective and having 4 uniformed officers who live on my street... And I found something interesting... of course. They did not try to solicit the uniformed officers houses or the neighbors on either side of these officers. But what I also found out is that because we do not have a "neighborhood playground, or area designated specifically for children" that these scums have the right to do their jobs and sell their services. I also noticed one guy who was convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor is working for the state health dept! That is disturbing!

And I am allowed to post no soliciting and no trespassing signs on my property. I was also told if I ever see these individuals in my neighborhood again to immediately contact the police.

Punishment? Lock them in the room with the parents of these poor children.
