Default Nintendo Wii

We got our console a couple of months back. I have only played it twice when my DD and DSil come over. My DH is a perfectionist. He had a bowling average of around 200 and demanded the same of all his team members. So needless to say I wasn't on his team........until all my team members left and he was down one girl. So he was stuck with me. So his team got the privilege of getting handicap. That year we took first place (the only time he had ever placed first), and we both got best improved.

OK, now to the present day. We have had this console for a while and he has been practicing. He was just as good at his bowling as the real game. But tonight I was hot, I mean smoking hot. And I beat him. I either had a spare or strike every frame.

Of course on the golf game he was 2 under par and I had a score of 54. So I have my work cut out. But I made sure I took a picture of the TV screen!

I just wish the other games were cheaper. But our DD rented a game for $3 so that was good. I can't wait for Christmas and we have a house full of our crazy family and we all play.

Didn't you just love that?! The one time (and only once) I beat my DH bowling I took so much pleasure rubbing it in. He had a high average and I was lucky if I broke 125. He was having a really bad night and I was having a really good night. I spent the rest of the night rubbing it in that I beat him!! Of course that will never happen again since now when I break 100 I am super happy. Maybe someday we'll break down and buy a Wii, it sounds like so much fun.

My DH is another one of those that is hard to beat. You can bowl/golf/arrow up your best game, and he will set a new record each time. Every now and again...BLAMMO! I get him! it feels so good.

You can go to a Game Stop or electronics boutique style places. they sell gently used games and garuntee them to work. if you have their memebership card, you save another 10% off the sale price of the used game. I just got a $60 PS3 game for $15 not bad! Check out amazon.com or Ebay style places. you can find some good deals if you look. Also Swap sites exist such as Swaptree and the like. Dont forget to search the pawn shops! you can find some wonderful deals in there. Even Salvation Army style places now have a small selection of used game discs.

I am loving my Wii!

I love mine also. I play with my DS & DDIL. My bowling is improving
with time. The only thing is that I have a bad left knee, so after playing
I might suffer for a day or two.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving my DD & DSIL are coming from NJ.

It will be fun watching them all play. I will get into it also.

We are a family of hunters, so I picked up "Cabela's Dangerous Hunts"

Between my DS & DSIL this should be fun watching the macho men
proving who is best.

One of the main reasons we bought one is so that my Mom and I can sit in our new family room at Christmas and watch all the kids, grand kids and great grand kids have loads of fun. Just to hear all that laughter and fun in our home. Building memories for Mom. My sisters daughter married a blind guy. He has been blind since birth. His parents really held him back but my niece won't hear any of that. I talked to him today and he has played one Wii game and thinks he can do the bowling without any problem. So I look forward to him having fun with it. Best Buy has a sale today and tomorrow buy two get one free of the games.

How cool, Doyd!!! My DH bought me a Wii last Christmas and I had him return it, as didn't think I would be able to do it. Maybe I'll have to give it some more thought!

Do you have the Wii fit????

You can sit in a chair and bairly move and work that Wii! No I havn't bought the Wii fit. My budget isn't 'fit' enough for it. Wish it were. I'm afraid it would go just like all of my other weight loss plans have gone. Just forgotten.

Wii love our Wii and even my 84 year old Mother loves playing some of the games. I made her Mii a real hottie in pink with silver hair and she thinks that is too cool!

I have the Biggest Loser but still want to get Mario and any racing games for DH who is a Nascar fanatic.

Wii'll see what Santa brings if he's a good boy.

Wii still think it should be medically deductible but oh well; wii will all just have fun with it.
