Default I'm in such a bad MOOD !!

I don't know what's happening to me but from when I wake up to when I go to bed, I'm snappy, grumpy, empty headed and annoyed by everything.
I can still go about everyday stuff but I'm no fun to be around- in fact I can hardly manage a laugh.
I don't think I'm depressed per se, just really annoyed that this is happening to me.
Walking is getting to be an adventure, i have pain, my mind is shutting down and i don't feel like i have much to be thankful for in the grand scheme of things.

What can I do? I live so far out the way it's not like I can go meet friends, volunteer, go places etc.

Himself went for a run this morning (he usually goes for an hour) and I went to the village to post stuff. I have no idea why but I completely forgot about him, locked him out, took my sweet time and even came home not even thinking he'd be out back waiting. I haven't a clue what's happening most of the time!

I'm off to a Bowen therapist in the morning- will let you know how that goes.

Can anyone help me cheer up? It all seems a bit hopeless at the mo. Help?

Hey Pud! I think many of us can relate; I know I have been in a funk myself lately. I'm not mad, just don't feel like myself. I wonder if the change of the the season could play a role in it. I seem to find myself overthinking everything lately.

Let us know how the Bowen Therapy goes, as there's a therapist close by me and I've had several people recommend it. I really hope it helps you...

All I can say is, if you continue to feel this way, you should really talk to someone or try to figure out why your'e feeling so sad/angry. I know that when I'm busy, even if it's just reading or on the pc, I don't seem to notice the ''down'' feelings as much.

Take care and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. (for us all)

Default toughen up whining princess

I know, i know.

toughen up princess.

But I had a better morning today, and as for the bowen therapy, well I went for my fatigue more than anything... but it left me exhausted

I don't think it's for me. and he didn't know anything about ms sx etc and was very bemused by my list of sensations and problems. What could he do?? very little really and I knew that. But it was cheap and worth a go.

The holiday season may be playing on you too. I know it's a gut punch for me and a lot of others.

You know, just because maybe some people have it worse does NOT mean you always have to put on the big girl panties and slap a smile on. If you feel down, there is nothing wrong with you. You have a right to feel that way from time to time.

Sure, it's a good deal to try to shrug it off, but if it persists, sometimes the best thing to do is let it run its course. Feel what you feel, express yourself, get to the bottom of it. Be kind to yourself and let others be kind, too.

You do not have to always be tough or happy.

The fact that somebody has it tougher than you - because there will always be somebody who does - does not diminish how hard things are for YOU.

Some wise person here said that to me.

Your hard times matter.

Thank you BGB. Just sometimes it hits hard doesn't it? Why me? and then the inevitable, why NOT me.

Sal, thank you also for the cat in the toilet pic. That's what I'm talking about to cheer me up. The slap was well received too.

Good today apart from the fatigue caused by the exhaustion following the Bowen therapy for my tiredness.

I'm sorry you are having a rough time of it right now.

Depression can manifest as anger also so if you aren't able to shake it please consider speaking with a professional and possibly starting an antidepressant if they think it would help.

Life is too short and too hard, imo to have to white knuckle it through if something will help.
