There are probably things out there that I am not aware of and any help would be appreciated.

There are lots of princess dresses out right now, and my 3.5 yr old dgd LOVES them all! I also grabbed one for Toys For Tots.

I got her Cinderella, a pop up book by Matthew Reinhart from hsn.com too. That is simply amazing. We have 2 other ones, Peter Pan and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Robert Sabuda. Incredible. I want to keep collecting these for her.

They go about $25 -30 each, but so worth it. You get a half hour or so of quiet, one-on-one time, lost in a fantasy - what's not to love?

Even the adults sit and read them.

I guess the *big* movie this year is the Princess and the Frog. We haven't seen it yet, but it looks like fun, and of course all the toys and trimmings are out - clothes, dolls, bedding, you name it.

Since we missed that boat, but she is really into princesses of all kinds, I got her Snow White, Belle, and Beast dolls - had to order the last two but Snow white is still in stores. And Three Princess bed with bedding.

She loves anything fairy, dinosaur, animal, coloring related, toy jewelry and even pretty clothes.

She's starting to really pretend with baby dolls and has always loved a tea party with stuffed dogs, cats, lions, whatever.

For great neice, I got Littlest Pet Shop and princess socks. Greath nephews are getting big pack of Hot Wheels and dinosuar flashlight.

I love shopping for the little ones.

~Now you can see why I'm so tired. I spend a LOT of time playing and picking up toys.~

Such a treasure trove of ideas from all of you! Now I have left over suggestions for her birthday too!

Thanks to all for the great list!

Fairies are all the rage here at the moment girls in that age group. There are books about fairies, DVDs about fairies and dress up fairy clothes everywhere you look.

I know that not all little girls are fairy minded, but it's just one more option to think about.
