Default Wow. I'm done wrapping presents.

I've never finished this soon before.

All I have left is to put stuff in the stockings, and I dont have a ton of stuff for that. I got my dad a bottle of sake' (Japanese rice wine) that I'm just going to set on the floor or the table tomorrow night before I go to bed, and then will put the stocking upside down on top of it.

My mom has some candy that's too big for her stocking, so I'm just going to put the candy on top of her stocking.

I dont know what to do now. It's ice raining outside and I'm staying in the house till the expected blizzard that's coming tomorrow is over. I didnt plan anything fun to do after wrapping presents.

I suppose I could cut open the cookie dough and break the pieces apart and make cookies, but that's going to end quick too.

My mom, who hates winter with a pathological hatred has been keeping me a bit busy because she keeps going outside to see how icy it is. (my dad asked her not to, because he doesnt want her to get a broken hip for Christmas) Everytime she goes outside and I say something, I get screamed at...which is better than being run down by a Pride Victory scooter like I did yesterday. (those things move quick! and hurt when they hit you!)

I kept her busy with wrapping presents, but we got done too soon. I suppose I could have her wrap a stocking stuffer (Harry Potter movie) for me.

Maybe I'll go get my sewing machine and some Christmas fabric from my stash and pins, and have her pin the fabric for me, while I sew up some new gift bags.

Darnit...I dont have enough activities planned.

The last of my online shopping packages arrived in time today. Whew!!

I was really concerned because of my last minute shopping and with the bad weather back East. One package came from Kohls in New Hampshire and another in Middleton, Ohio.

I keep cookies out for the UPS and Fed-Ex drivers. They are in a hurry so they ring the doorbell, set the package down and run back to the truck.

I holler at them and they come back to the door and get a few cookies and they are so pleased.

I have all mine wrapped and under the tree, waiting for my sweet little Grands to tear into them. Star Wars and Batman are still going strong.

I'm ready for the Christmas ham and sweet potato casserol, asti spumanti, cookies, candy....etc..

Oh, and Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

I think my dad is going to stay home from work tomorrow because of the weather. (that's if the blizzard starts when they say it's going to start, and if the ice rain that we had made the streets horrible. From what I see out there right now, he's going to work). I'm worried he'll go to work, the weather will get worse and then they'll refuse to let him go home because they'll want to keep enough people to staff the hospital. Kind of hoping the boss will call and tell him to stay home.

If he stays home, he's making friday's ribs tomorrow. I know he's crockpotting the chili tomorrow during the day whether or not he's going to be home. The house is going to smell tasty.

If we get the blizzard, we're staying home and having chili and ribs and cornbread. If the snowpocalypse fizzles, we're going out for chinese food as long as the place doesnt close because of the weather.

If the power goes out, I guess we're having M&m's and Snicker's bars for dinner tomorrow.

We're right on the line between where it might get nasty...weatherguy's arent sure if we're getting dumped on, or if we're going to have a slushy christmas.
