Default Merry Christmas!

I have to work.

I am grateful to have a job. I am grateful to have my family and friends. I am grateful that it isn't snowing. I'm grateful that I will have my Christmas dinner on Sunday with the kids and watch them open their presents.

I am remembering the reason for the season and I am grateful.

I wish you all love, peace and happiness today!

Merry Christmas RW.

As a shift worker I was another who often worked at Christmas. Some-one had to do it, and to be honest, I actually enjoyed the atmosphere of the day. We "older" nurses would often volunteer so that the younger ones could spend the time with their children.

Some times we'd dress up for the patients in the hospital who were not able to go home. There's always be a lovely Christmas feast for them and we nurses would always give the patients a special treat on the day.
