I survived! We hosted Christmas this year for DH's family. 14 people and I'm wiped out. I was up late cleaning up and spent some of today putting the dishes away. I managed to get outside and take down the few outdoor decorations with my DD's help. Wanted to get it done between the rain and before the snow comes back. I'll take down the indoor decorations and have DH take the tree back to the basement maybe tomorrow. If I find the energy that is! We won't host again for the next 3 years and I'm so happy about it.

After I get the Christmas decorations away I can take out the snowmen decorations for the winter.

I survived!

I don't think I should eat anything else for at least a month, but I know darn well that I will!

I refused to tackle the post-Christmas Boxing Day sales because I cannot do crowds any more, so while others fought their way through the chaos to get a bargain, DD and I had a leisurely day doing mother & daughter type things, which we rarely get the opportunity to do. It was just perfect!

It's still not over for me, lol!

We just got grandbaby back from her mother yesterday, after her dad had gone to work. Wound up tighter than a 8 day clock. she ran around crazy and wore herself out so bad, she fell asleep before even I did. So she was asleep on the couch before my ds came to collect her.

Were going to have her open her gifts last night, but we'll do that today instead.

I felt bad, because I did not decorate. Poor kid came in and said, "Who stole my Christmas, my Christmas here?" like Cindy Lou Who.

Never let a kid watch The Grinch and then not decorate and have their presents on time.

Gotta love 3 yr olds. She's a smart one.

This was the first christmas in my new house.
I had the biggest tree I have ever had. It was fun decorating with DS and
DDIL.
The food consisted of a lot of the polish traditional food this year. Have
not done that in a long time.

I keep my decorations up until Jan. 6th, which is called little christmas
or the Ephifany.

Yesterday I stayed home. Was invited to go with family to friends house
for more celebration, but had to stay home and rest and sleep most of the
afternoon away.

Will feel sad when all the decorations come down. I just love christmas
so much, it is the best holiday of the year.
