Default it's 83 degrees in here!
DD decided she wanted to sleep on the sofa in the middle of the night, which is fine. except...

The thermostat control is above the sofa. I woke up this morning with my skin crawling all over my body and that lovely feeling of blah that I had to tolerate for the summer. And I realize it is not me, that it is HOT in here. yeah, DD decided to adjust the temp... to 99!! It was 83 in here when I woke up which means in my bedroom it was around 87.

Children annoy me. She is lucky she has school today.

That was my first thought, too!!

Nobody touches the thermostat in this house! I've always said...when you pay all the bills here we'll talk about it. Until then......hands off!

Get one of those plastic boxes that you see in restaurants and other public places that goes over the thermostat and has a lock on it.

Then you can lock up the thermostat, and be in total control of the temperature in the house.

You know as mad as I was this morning, I still had to remember she is only 5!

No worries though I know a little girl who will be on towel folding and floor sweeping duties tonight

Since she's 5...I guess you can give her that much. It is a little funny now that I know she is only 5, but still.
