Default Wish me luck with the new PCP

Unfortunately I know first hand that there are good PCPs and bad PCPs. I’ve had both. When I got the letter from my former PCP saying that she was moving out of state, I figured it was just as well. Years ago I probably should have found someone who is more pro-active.

Last week I met for the first time with a new prospective doctor. So far, I only know that he doesn’t have two heads, but I am hopeful. Next Wednesday I will see him and he will have all my medical records at hand.

At least that’s what he said. I, of course, know how hard it is to round up all these records in a short time. I know because most doctors tell you to get these records yourself, and bring the records to them.

Perhaps this is a good sign. Wish me luck.

Good luck! I've found that I never know if I have a good or bad doctor until I'm having health issues. And by then it's too late!! I hope this new doctor works out for you.

Good Luck!

I hate the MD-go-round. I will say a prayer that you get a good one.

I hope that your PCP is half as great as mine is....then you will have it all.

My PCP just left his practice to work at the hospital ER so have to find another one.

I really like the Doctor I started taking Mom to so I asked today and she is taking new patients as most here are not.

The office gave me so many "new patient" forms to fill out!

Seven pages total and one sheet is symptoms and complaints so I may have to add writers cramp...

Good news is; my first appointment is Wednesday..this week..wow!
