Spring for many is almost here - the middle of this month. With that said, I am really, really liking Dej's avatar - the colors and memories associate with it are awesome!

Birds are chirping - getting twitterpated as Old Owl in Bambi said. Which reminds me, my 6-year old nephew said they never should have made the movie Bambi. Now, I'll bet your 1st thought was because Bambi's mother died, right? Well that was not his reason. His reason is because of Thumper's line, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say nothing at all." Apparently, his parents say this quite often to him and in his little mind, he thinks they say that because of the movie. LOL

When I think of Spring, that movie always comes to mind. The awakening of the animals from hibernation, the flowers blooming, the colors used in the movie, etc. are all happy and full of life.

Yeah.....or you can be like me and just sit on a bench and feel like you're on the roller coaster!! :p  :D

LMAO!!! I have been on this roller coaster ride for 2 months now and I want off! The ground is dropping, the turns & twists are pulling me in all directions, and I'm getting a little nauseous AND I didn't even have to pay to get in an amusement park for this ride. I can be anywhere to "enjoy" it.:D

Dejibo 03-05-2010 03:21 PM

I too can feel like a ride when I am sitting still. Wheeee!

Kitty 03-05-2010 03:34 PM

See ya'll......we can visit an amusement park and never leave the comfort of our own home! We can be tipsy and never have to take a drink! Oh, the perks of MS!!!  :D

Blessings2You 03-05-2010 04:47 PM

A little known scientific fact: you can be so tired that it's physically impossible to stop talking about it.

Dejibo 03-05-2010 06:19 PM

Did you know that it cant be too cold to snow? It can be too dry, but never too cold...wild!

I am wondering why I feel so weird now that I have the house to myself for the first time in years. I've cleaned, I've ate, I've fixed some wires that were hanging too much, fed the animals. Guess I'll get back to my vampire books. Weird.

Good thing we don't all live close to Sandy!! I'm sure we could find a way to liven things up!

ewizabeth 03-05-2010 07:28 PM

I read the first two vampire books Sandy. :D Those can be addicting. ;) Now I'm reading a book about coal miners in the south and a town abandoned after a mine explosion (fiction). I think I'll get the next in the vampire series after this one.

Which one are you on? I have the second one (New Moon?) I think...

I'm very tired but so happy with my job. I'm carrying a Droid for two weeks to learn about the options and operations. It's an awesome phone!! :) :ooo: I look like such a nerd, walking around with three cell phones on my all the time, lol. :D

I am on the last one, Breaking Dawn, already! It's so addicting I don't know how you left the second one without getting the third.

I have to say the second one bored me just a tad because I am more into Edward and Bella than Jacob and Bella. The last one is bitter sweet because I know it's going to end soon. I finished the third, 630 pages in two days. :( This one is 730+. :D

I'll be glad when Easter is over and my Dove dark chocolate stops looking like cat poops.

Today I am thinking about and praying for our friend, Faith. May she soon receive the help and care she wants and needs and returns unscathed, here to us.:hug:

Kitty 03-06-2010 01:15 PM

Amen. :smileypray:

Why is it impossible not to pop the bubbles on a piece of bubble wrap??

SallyC 03-06-2010 07:14 PM

I try to save them for my Grandkids, but it's not always possible.:D:p

SandyC 03-06-2010 08:56 PM

I am just pondering.

Debbie D 03-06-2010 10:43 PM

Hmmm....wondering honestly why everyone has abandoned us? Honestly, where is everyone?

ewizabeth 03-06-2010 11:05 PM

I'm right here Debbie! Getting ready to go to bed!

legzzalot 03-07-2010 03:09 AM

Wondering how and why I am still awake at 3 am?? And lookin forward to being ALONE all day tomorrow. DH2B has to pull another 24 hour shift (go Army!) starting at 9. And my mother and DD won't be here until after 5!!

Hey, it's the first time I have been alone since I broke my back... 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. Might throw a wild party in honor of my babysitters not being here. Then again, might not, would probably hurt myself.

I miss driving!

Dejibo 03-07-2010 08:33 AM

im wondering why folks dress up to go to church. Who are we trying to impress? God sees us all week long.

sabimax 03-07-2010 10:40 AM

yes Dej, that is why I never have dressed up too much.. sometimes in jeans... my hubby always said, God does not care what you are wearing or how you look... he is glad you are there worshiping and praying....

hey all just found this thread... why took me like till page 204 lol...

hmmm random thought for the day.... do I want to be on baclofen and neurontin here out for my lifetime... that is on my mind... and the sunshine... getting outside soon... hugsssss

FaithS 03-07-2010 10:52 AM

So then I was like "Whoa" and she was like "Sweet" then I said "Dude!!" so he said "What the hey", and I said "I know, right" and she said "Really."

It was awesome - I guess you had to be there.

MS Brain Fart (MSBF):D

tkrik 03-07-2010 03:59 PM

Rainy colder day out, a good nap, DBF napping and snoring on the couch:eek::p, Nascar race at Atlanta on, bowl of warm popcorn, and a glass of coke. It doesn't get much better than this for a perfect Sunday afternoon.:D

Dejibo 03-07-2010 05:43 PM

each year I am happy for spring to come, and then I start to remember what it entails. all the summer folks coming back. the campground reopens. clearing out all the winter damage...alot of work! Why did I want spring again?

Debbie D 03-07-2010 10:35 PM

Dej,
I kind of like the do-nothingness that winter brings. Once the grass turns green, it means mowing, weeding, planting, watering, and I HATE working in the garden...I should buy a condo...

Spring and fall are my favorite seasons. Winter too cold; summer too hot. I don't spend much time outdoors any season, but I like no heating or cooling bills.

DD20, however, is an outdoor summer girl all the way!
