Default We cancelled V Day at my house.

Nothing says loving like "honey, I broke my back; and my mother is coming to spend the night". Neither of us had time to do any shopping, and the idea of going out to dinner hurts. So we decided to cancel it this year!

Hey I love him, he loves me, we both know it and lord knows he has been trapped in the house taking care of me since i fell and hurt myself. He is a good man indeed. Plus he has to pull another 24 hour shift tomorrow; hence why my mommy is coming to babysit me.

Him being there to sit with you IS a valentines day present, and its better than any dozen roses, or boxes of chocolate. Its the lasting gift of true love, not the fleeting gift of lust.

I hope you feel better soon.

Go out for a nice belated Valentine's meal, when you feel better. :-)

Dej's answer rocks.

The day is about being loved, letting them love you, and loving them back. Loving people as they are, not if they were perfect.

Don't let convention tell you you did not have a SVDay - you had an unusual one, but it fit.

Heal quick, kiddo.

My Grands brought a heart box of candy (small), for VDay. Having them here and DD was all the valentine I needed.

My DH got me a box of freshly dipped gourmet strawberries, but he gives all year long. He folds laundry, cleans the cat box, washes floors, scrubs toilets, and is my chauffer. We dont need a special day to prove a thing. We already know what we have, and all the diamonds in the world on that special day wont change who and what he is the rest of the year.

Your husband rocks legs!

We went to a movie on Valentine's Day (we go out to eat so often, anyways, I thought a movie would be more fun). And DH bought me flowers and a gift today.

Mine went and picked up all my prescriptions and some azo pills and left me alone! LOL Really! Oh, he also told me we need to get married before he gets out of the Army just in case they retire him and he gets to keep the benefits, which means I would be covered on his medical.

Today he is at work until tomorrow... and probably taking the rest of the week off to help me out.

Oh, he did buy me some new xbox games to entertain me while I am stuck sitting on the sofa... of course he took the xbox to work fo his 24 hour shift... LOL It's all good I know he loves me he shows it all year.
