The man who's wife had the baby was Big Mike. I though he was amazing every time. I'll buy his record if he ever puts one out, seriously.

The girl who went home, I didn't think she was all that good anyway. It seems like you can tell the ones who are already doing this (singing) for a living or at least some in public compared to the ones with a hairbrush in the mirror. Not that they are always better, but they seem to know the ropes. They seem to deal with the pressure better.

She made it!! I was so glad. I felt bad for the ones who didn't (or most of them, anyway). Now it gets good. We get to see them in their element.

I missed it! I thought it was on later than it was. Dang it!

Glad to hear Crystal made it. She not only has a good voice but her ability to entertain is great. That is so important. It is one thing to have a good voice but a completely different thing to use that voice to entertain. Capturing the audience is what it is all about.

OK, so tomorrow night on AI, 2 of the top 12 women and 2 of the top 12 men, will be going home.

I must say it's going to be harder to pick 2 women than 2 men. JMO, but only a few men sounded good enough tonight. I didn't always agree with Simon's critique, though. I thought he was harsh.

I started watching it during the 2nd half. So far there are a couple of men I would send home. Others are definite keepers.

There were definitely several girls and boys I would predict won't be coming back. Next week will be interesting to see who leaves.

My hearing must be off because there is always someone who I think isn't so good and the judges just love them. Makes me wonder if it's at all preplanned.

You and me both, Kelly! LOL I think they are also looking at personality and the ability to entertain as opposed to singing ability. At least that was my thought last night. There are many singers that aren't great but are certainly entertaining to watch.
