Oh hey! Can I be your older sister? I've never been an older sister before. I am a pretty good younger sister, though. I have references.

yep! you can be my older sissy.

I spoke to my mom yesterday. I always steel myself for that call. She spoke lovingly of how ill my older sister has been. When she speaks lovingly of her, I know they are as thick as theives in some project, or my sister is hoodwinking her. She spoke of how dramatically ill she is, and the MDs are all telling her that she is a heart attack or stroke waiting to happen. My mother wanted to chatter on about her until...I interupted her and asked "did she stop smoking?" "is she following any of the MDs advice?" "is she still using 4 or 5 MDs to get pain pills from each?" "is she still high/stoned?" "does she still live in a trailer filled with trash?" "has she eaten a single vegetable all week, and ketchup doesnt count?" my mom was surprised. I led on to say that unless she takes control and takes better care of herself, of course she is going to be/remain sick.

Got a call that I didnt pick up from my sisters phone. she left a message that I needed to stop tying to poison the old woman against her. It was none of my business if she smokes, drinks, or has prescription pills to take. She was quite agitated, so I know my mother was more dramatic than she needed to be when she repeated the conversation to her. Sad...just sad...

Havent heard from my brother since I refused his drama. I made him repeat after me that it wont be allowed in my circle, and if he continues to try HE wont be allowed.

How did I end up with these folks? I am nothing like any of them! If I didnt tell you I was related, you would never know.

So, I have a big sissy, and some little sisters. any brothers jumping in?

Like my signature says, life really can be a bowl full of cherries. It sounds to me like you are just starting to learn how to spit out those cherry pits. Good for you. It is difficult, but in the long run you’ll be a happier person because of it.
