Thanks for asking. I'm still sore but doing okay. I couldn't get into the doctor because it's the weekend and when I fell the office was already closed.

Maybe someone knows this answer - if I go to the doctor because of the fall, does my medical insurance cover it or do I have to pay for the full visit and then go after Walmart?

So sorry about your fall, K. I guess you would have to use your insurance although I'm not sure.
I wish somebody would've suggested you take an ambulance from the store to the er. They would've had to pay for sure I would think. I'm sure Walmart management would've just loved that .

Call a lawyer tomorrow. Don't wait. I know it sounds awful but you don't know what kind of health issues this could cause you later.

I didn't go to ER because I know I would be there literally all night. Every time one of us has had to go we were there about 8 hours before anything was done. Because I wasn't bleeding profusely (we had to wait 6 hours for my DH's head wound) it would have been an all night wait.

We have vacation plans this coming week so I'll have to wait until I get back to see the doctor. I know I didn't break anything and all my aches and pains are areas where I have had injury before, some very recent. I worked in law and know how hard it is to prove your case, etc.. I honestly don't have the strength to try. But I will leave that option open!!!

I just knew that by telling you wonderful people about my fall would help. If anyone understands how much it wiped me out and sapped my strength, it would be all of you! Besides I knew a tale of falling would be a great conversation at The Stumble Inn!!

I hope you feel better and enjoy your upcoming vacation. If you notice any problems, after the fact, go to an ER where you are vacationing. Enjoy, relax and I hope your bruises don't show in your yellow bikini.

I'm back home and have an appointment with my doctor for Monday morning. Still feeling pain where I shouldn't! I did miss out on quite a bit of my vacation because of the pain and I'm so disappointed about it.

Oh and I got a call from Walmart's legal department while I was away. I called back and of course got a voice mail so I left her a message that I was returning her call. Think we'll be playing this back and forth game for a while.

When you go to the doctor they usually ask is this from an accident?..a car accident, or workman's comp? Let them know what caused the problem, so you have it on file from day one.

Depending on how hurt you are, or what damage was done, with tests, etc., you can talk to a lawyer and see what the lawyer thinks you should do. See if you have a case to file against them for your injuries.

Then you can get reimbursed for your doctors costs, medications, pain and suffering, and more. Or if you are not injured permanently, which I hope is not the case, they still should pay for your costs and travel to the doctors and test sites.. JMO

I had to go for an xray of my shoulder and am taking Naproxen which is helping. He thinks my leg pain is muscular so it's a wait and see on that. I go back next week to see him again.
