Default I love him so much that i super glued my engagement ring to my finger!

HA HA some things that could only happen to me....

DH2B asked me to bring him some painting supplies for work today because he is trying to fix up his new store. No prob. I decided i wasn't feeling too bad and since I was in jeans and a t shirt vs his suit and tie that I would stay and help paint.

I was smart enough to take my engagement ring off so I didn't get paint on it.

We had fun, reminded me of old times when we were painting our first house. Then the MonSter kicked in and i decided i was done painting. So I decided to bring him lunch before I headed home.

Get the kid off the bus and remember that my poor blow up ghost (yard decoration) has a hole and is flat. We bring him inside for emergency surgery/ repairs. Find the hole. Little tiny pinhole. I decide to super glue the spot before applying tape to the boo boo. . . .

yeah, except...

when I opened the bottle of super glue without looking I managed to rip the entire top of the bottle off so when I went to pour a little drop i ended up dumping the entire bottle in my hand. I am in the kitchen so like a dummy I go to the sink and start trying to wash it off (knowing that water will make it set faster... duh).

I ended up covering my engagement ring in super glue which is now glued to my finger! The fumes are making my nose burn and my eyes are watering. It was quite a sight!

Finally got it off, headed to the jeweler who happens to give free cleanings for life... after 20 minutes of hard work they get all the glue off and my ring is shiny and new. explaining to the lady how i managed to super glue my ring to my finger was priceless.

So for those of you who need a laugh.... or those of you who realize true love sometimes means super gluing the ring to your hand.... LOL
