[nope, not ever. There is nothing out there that I could possibly want that would compel me to venture out on black friday. I like people, but not crowded packed in places. It can also be a petri dish for germs. ginnie

I don't consider myself a "germaphobe" but just the thought of all those dirty, unwashed hands......and coughing, sniffling, sneezing people......no thanks. I'll be at home, jammies on, hot coffee in hand, remote set to QVC and computer ready and waiting for online shopping. With the free shipping being offered you really can't go wrong!

well, Kelly - I USUALLY do not venture out on Black Fridays ... I did ONCE and almost got abused by a shopper!! (if that's a good word) ...

maybe -- that's a HUGE maybe ... I will head over to the quilt shop for their sales ... seeing that everyone will hopefully be at the malls and in the city! also, depends on the weather - it's about an hour from me .. taking country back roads, too ...

WIZ .. you are too funny!! can you believe it's been over a year since we got together??

Actually, it's probably the perfect day to go grocery shopping. I'm pretty sure the stores will be all but deserted!

Our whole neck of the woods is covered in ice. The scanner is chattering away like crazy with reports of cars off the road. ANOTHER good reason to stay inside. I'd like to think the people in the cars off the road were on their way to work, not shopping.

The town road crew just said "there's cars off the road all over the place!"

Default There's an app for that...
The other day (Tues.) I found an app for Black Friday. the app automatically detects your location, and shows the best black friday deals near me. I am not too surprised or impressed this year. Doesn't seem like that many deals. Glad I am home nice and warm in my recliner with my laptop and blanket watching all those crazy people on the morning news.

Walmart announced a rare sale on iPod Touches. there was a line 70 people deep at 3am. When they got in they found out the sale was $9.00 off the touch. LOL!!!!! You can save more money on Amazon, and get free shipping.
