I like words anyway, so I tend NOT to exercise my brain with numbers (think sudoku). I like the song games here on the fun forum, and I do email scrabble with a friend. By and large, the Facebook type games freak out my computer, so I tend to invent my own brain games.
The other morning I woke up and for some reason started thinking of words that begin and end with the same letter. So I spent a while trying to see how many words I could think of for each letter of the alphabet that fit that criterion. For example: A - algebra, Australia B - bob, blurb C - cathartic, cryptic D - druid, dud I ended up with quite a list for each letter, but couldn't think of any for J, Q, U, and V. I'm still working on it, though. I make my own rules, so they can be proper names, foreign words, who cares? I just find it relaxing.
