Default Brain exercises

I like words anyway, so I tend NOT to exercise my brain with numbers (think sudoku). I like the song games here on the fun forum, and I do email scrabble with a friend. By and large, the Facebook type games freak out my computer, so I tend to invent my own brain games.

The other morning I woke up and for some reason started thinking of words that begin and end with the same letter. So I spent a while trying to see how many words I could think of for each letter of the alphabet that fit that criterion. For example:

A - algebra, Australia
B - bob, blurb
C - cathartic, cryptic
D - druid, dud

I ended up with quite a list for each letter, but couldn't think of any for J, Q, U, and V. I'm still working on it, though. I make my own rules, so they can be proper names, foreign words, who cares? I just find it relaxing.

I am a retired Accountant, so, hate numbers games,,ugh!! I love word games. Go to Pogo and play word whomp every night.

My DD calls me in to play some FB games, but my PC slows up, too, and I have DSL. DD has road runner so, has no problem.

I also like crosswords, but haven't done them, since my glasses broke.

My life is too layed back for mind boggling problem solving, so your game would be frustrating to me when I hit a brick wall, like "Q".. LOL

Default I would just have to google...

....I'm not very smart with words anymore.
I googled for the letter U just out of curiosity and there are four at this site, if you don't mind cheating. :
