Default You're as old as you feel?

I always knew there would come a day when I had to let things go. When I wouldn't be able to do the things I always did. When I'd tucker out by lunch time, have to be careful about food choices, need to be near a bathroom at all times.

A time when I couldn't think on my feet, couldn't come up with the right word, wasn't sure what people were talking about, couldn't keep up. A day when people would have to make special concessions for me.

A time when I wouldn't go places at night, travel very far from home, or volunteer to do anything more than twenty minutes in the future.

I knew the day would come, but funny thing: I thought when the day came, I'd be 85 and not 60.

B2Y,
You make me laugh. That's way better than crying. My 18 year olds are home from college (I am a really old motha. I'll be 55 in a few days) DD engages me in a game on computer. Kinda talks about her boyfriend (No real details - not that I really want to hear them. I am her Mother) by 1 I am exhausted but kids just got home so I push to 1:45. I need to go lay down. I feel 80.

I started out sniffling and ended up laughing at your story, Blessings.

In my mind I'm still in my 30s, I have MS, but, by gosh, it does't have me...Don't hit me..LOL.

My body, however, is another story. It is 85+ and hitting the skids faster than I expected.

I wonder how little Allison feels. I hate her illness, worse than mine..

I don't feel old...just not healthy. Well, my cog fog makes me feel like MIL and I are having a race as to whose brain will fail first, hers with AZD or mine with MS...
