Okay, I'll start.

This morning I went out to pickup the newspaper off the driveway. That was my intention when I went out the door.

I walked straight to the mailbox, opened it, saw that there was no mail (it's Sunday morning ), closed it and walked back into the house. No newspaper in hand.

The newspaper was on the sidewalk directly behind the mailbox. I saw it. Don't know why I didn't pick it up. I was lost in thought.....about what I don't know.....and now I'm hoping nobody saw me go check the mail and leave the paper!

Got up yesterday, rushed and not feeling great. Got dressed, looked nice actually. Did my hair, put on some jewelry and talked myself into going. Stepped out into the LR and DH said "um, whatcha all fancy for?" I said "duh! we are going to be late for church if we dont get going, why are you in blue jeans?" He said "sorry honey, its saturday, but you can consider this practice for tomorrow." UGH!

After taking a cool shower, I still sweat profusely for at least 45 minutes. To combat this temperature problem I put on an old t-shirt and sweat shorts to stay cool and comfortably sweat out. I even use a face cloth to wipe the sweat from my face and neck.

I did this exact same thing yesterday and came into the living room, where we had a neighbor visiting, and everyone looked at me like I was.....(shall I say it?) a MORON.

Without even breaking a beat in her conversation, my wife looks at me and asked if there was a specific reason I didn't bother to put on a pair of sweat shorts? Lo and behold, there I was in my power wheelchair wearing my Redskins t-shirt and "BOXER BRIEFS!!!" My sweat shorts still waiting for me on the bed.

I simply said, "Interesting, huh?" Turned around and went back to put my shorts on. The neighbors, and my wife, were laughing hysterically.

To me, just another day as a professional spontaneous MORON.
