Default my cat and her bug

I'm siiting here at my computer. As usual my cat is in the room with me. So I noticed her getting ready to pounce. She is chasing this little spider. The spider gets away but she isn't finding it. So I see it and start pouncing my foot around because the spider keeps moving on me. Me pouncing my foot around scares the cat so she leaves. So I kill the spider and then put it on an envelope for my cat to find. She eventually comes back in the office, finds the envelope and just sits and stares at the dead prey. I don't know if she is guarding it from me, thinking it is a stupid spider now or what. But she is just staring at that poor dead spider. What would we do without our pets?

Well my DH just came home, brought my cell phone to me and walked on the spider. So now my evening entertainment is gone.
